IRC is an acronym for Internet Relay Chat, and is used for discussion. It can be used for technical support with a lot of open source applications, including most Linux distros. I used it when I had trouble with Linux. I recommend that you download a popular client called mIRC (there's a tutorial there) and get started. Eventually, I will set up a scheduled chat on a channel created by me for this website and computers and stuff. Email me with the link at the bottom of any page on this site if you're interested. |
